Summit Heights Track & Field Day

20 Apr

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Summit Heights will be holding our annual Track and Field Day on Wednesday, April 25.  Our rain date will be the following day on Thursday, April 26.

All students from grades 1 – 6 will be participating in a series of events. This has been a very successful day in the past,  giving students a great way to consolidate the skills they have been learning in Phys-Ed as well as an opportunity to have fun!

The primary students will be participating for the morning only, as they are participating in fewer events. The juniors will be participating all day. This means that all students should be coming to school prepared with the following labeled items: – Running shoes (no cleats) – T-shirt – Sweatshirts – Shorts – Hat – Water bottle (reusable preferred) – Sunscreen – Students with inhalers or epi-pens should also be wearing them at all times during the track and field day.

We are all looking forward to a wonderful day of physical activity and fun!

Mr. Anton & Mrs. Eisen

Winter Clothing Drive

20 Nov

Dear Families of Summit Heights,

We are holding a winter outdoor clothing drive. Summit Heights has received a request from a school in the TDSB where families have difficulty updating their children’s winter clothing each year. We will be collecting winter coats, snow pants, boots, and other outdoor accessories starting on Monday, November 23.  Our drive will end on Monday, November 30. At this time of the year, as you are looking through your closets to get ready to suit up for winter, we are asking you to consider donating the clothing items that your family no longer needs to another community in our TDSB family.  Please drop off all donations in the collection bins in the hallway outside the school office.

Let’s answer the call, Summit!
