Parent Council Meeting: October 25, 2022
Dear Summit Heights Parents,
The October 25th Parent Council meeting will be held in the Summit Library at 7pm – all parents are welcome and babysitting is available. Click here for the upcoming Agenda and here for the Minutes (unapproved) from our last meeting.
Several voting positions are still available including:
(1) Vice-Chair (1 year term): assist the Chair is their duties, learn the role, preparing to take on the Chair role the following year
(2) Secretary (2 year term): record the minutes of all meetings and distribute the minutes to the Chair, as required
(3) Technology / Web Coordinator (2 year term): support / administer the Summit Heights school website, and other systems as needed; coordinate the distribution of the Digital Friday File
(4) Kindergarten Rep (2 year term): plan and execute activities for the JK / SK classes and advocate for their specific needs at Council
(5) Junior School Rep (2 year term): plan and execute activities for the Grades 4 – 6 classes and advocate for their specific needs at Council
(6) Fundraising Committee Coordinators (2 year term): prepare and execute activities to raise money for Council activities, including curriculum enhancement and special projects
