Rapid Test Kits sent home today
Good afternoon Summit Heights Families,
First, we wanted to thank and acknowledge the support, patience and understanding of our community (students, parents and staff) regarding how long it took for our parking lot and bus loop to be cleared of snow. Rest assured that we communicated daily with the TDSB about this issue. Thankfully the lot and loop are now clear.
All in-person students at Summit Heights will be taking home a ziploc bag that contains two rapid tests. You are encouraged to use them at home for your child when symptomatic. These kits are provided by the Ministry of Education, tests are not allocated to students who are attending school remotely (i.e., meaning virtual school students, not meaning students who are learning remotely temporarily in January).
Included in the kit are instructions on how to use the tests.
If your child was absent from school today, your classroom teacher will store the kit until your child returns to school.
Thank you,
Mr. B. Mah,
Principal.
